The Cisco WS-X6348-RJ45V is a 48-port 10/100 Ethernet line card for the Catalyst 6000/6500 series, the inline-power-capable variant of the WS-X6348 family built to accept the WS-F6K-VPWR Voice Power Feature Card as a daughter board. With the VPWR daughter card fitted, the module can deliver Cisco pre-standard inline power to connected IP phones and other powered devices directly from the switch port, alongside its Enhanced QoS classification and queuing for prioritising voice and other latency-sensitive traffic. Without the daughter card fitted it operates as a standard, non-powered 48-port 10/100 line card. It fits a Catalyst 6000/6500 chassis slot alongside the Supervisor Engine and other line cards. Genuine spares of this line card are a routine requirement for maintaining or extending existing Catalyst 6500 voice/data deployments.
