Cisco NM-1A-E3 enterprise networking (router/Catalyst switch/UCS families) Router Line Card

The Cisco NM-1A-E3 is a 1-port E3 ATM network module for Cisco’s modular access routers (2600, 3600 and 3700 series), adding a single ATM interface over an E3 (34.368 Mbps) circuit to the host router. It fits one of the router’s network module slots and gives the platform ATM uplink capacity for WAN aggregation, service-provider access or campus ATM backbone connections where an E3-rate ATM circuit is required, the European/international counterpart to the DS3-rate NM-1A-T3 module. This is a widely deployed legacy WAN module and genuine spares are routinely needed to maintain full port capacity on routers already running this card, restore a failed unit, or add ATM connectivity to a router that does not yet have it. Specifiers should confirm the exact host router model and IOS feature set support ATM/E3 network modules before ordering. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) stocks Cisco WAN modules to support ongoing network maintenance projects.
