The Nortel NTDK20DA is a System Signaling Controller (SSC) card for Nortel’s Meridian 1 Option 11C platform, part of the same NTDK-prefixed controller-card family as the Small System Controller cards catalogued in this range. The SSC handles the Option 11C cabinet’s call-signalling and system-control functions, working alongside the cabinet’s line and trunk cards. Tech-Star supplies this as a secondary-market spare for maintaining an existing Option 11C installation. The SSC is one of the core call-processing cards for the Option 11C cabinet, and a failed SSC typically takes the whole system out of service until it is replaced. Option 11C sites are still common among smaller UK businesses that never migrated to CS1000 or CS1000-based cloud platforms.
