The Cisco MEM3660-32D-repl is a 32MB DRAM field-upgrade memory module for the Cisco 3660 modular router, supplied as a compatible replacement for the original Cisco part. Adding DRAM to a 3660 increases the working memory available to the IOS image and routing/forwarding tables, a common requirement as feature sets, route-table sizes and interface counts grow beyond the router’s original memory configuration.

The 3660 was one of Cisco’s mid-range modular access/aggregation routers of the late 1990s and early 2000s, and estates still running that platform continue to need memory of this specification to keep units in service.
