The Finisar FTLX1471D3BCL is a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver with a 1310 nm source, rated for 10 km over single-mode fibre and supporting digital diagnostic monitoring. Long reach 10 Gigabit optics of this class are the standard part for links between buildings and between a data centre and its network edge, where the distance is beyond what an 850 nm multimode module will carry.
