The Foundry EIF4802CF is a EdgeIron 4802CF managed switch, providing 48 10/100 ports with two combination gigabit uplinks. Each uplink can be used as a copper 1000BASE-T port or as a mini-GBIC fibre slot, so one switch covers both a copper riser and a fibre run to the core. It was built for wiring-closet and small-backbone duty in a single rack unit.
