The HP J9803A is an HP 1810-24G v2 switch, a 24-port smart-managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with two SFP uplink ports. All 24 RJ-45 ports auto-sense 10/100/1000BASE-T, and the switch adds two SFP slots for fibre or copper Gigabit uplinks, a 52 Gbit/s switching capacity and around 38.7 Mpps of throughput. It runs a fanless, 1U rack-mountable design aimed at small-business and branch deployments needing basic QoS, VLANs and link aggregation without the cost or complexity of a fully managed switch. Energy Efficient Ethernet and idle-port power-down keep running costs down on lightly loaded ports. It is the 24-port sibling of the 8-port 1810-8G v2 in the same family.
