The Huawei 020MER is an SSN1PETF8 8-port Fast Ethernet electrical interface board for the OptiX OSN 3500 and OSN 7500 SDH/MSTP transmission platforms. It provides eight 10/100M FE electrical ports and works with the packet and Ethernet service processing boards, such as the PEG series, to access and transport Ethernet services over the SDH network.

The board handles the electrical FE access side while the paired processing board performs the Ethernet-over-SDH mapping and switching. It is a legacy component of Huawei’s OptiX SDH/MSTP portfolio and remains deployed in carrier and enterprise transport networks. Available from Tech Star as new or refurbished stock.
