The Huawei 020MER is an SSN1PETF8 optical interface board designed for deployment within Huawei OptiX OSN series optical transmission equipment. This card provides eight ports of 10GE/GE Ethernet functionality, enabling high-capacity packet transport services over optical networks.

The PETF8 board is typically deployed in metro and backbone optical transport networks where carriers and enterprises require aggregation of Ethernet services onto wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) or optical transport network (OTN) infrastructure.
