The IBM 46K4732 is a dual-port SAS RAID controller, feature code 57B3, running at 3Gb/s over a PCIe x8 interface, supporting RAID levels 0, 5, 6 and 10 for IBM’s Power7 servers, and sharing its family with alternate part numbers 46K5840 and 44V4853. It is the PCIe-generation successor to the PCI-X 46K4734 adapter, reflecting Power7’s move away from PCI-X. Cards of this feature code are fitted for internal RAID-protected disk storage on Power7 chassis. Tech-Star ships worldwide from UK stock.
