Marconi 131-9069/01: synchronisation and engineering order-wire extension module for Marconi MSH SDH systems.

The Marconi 131-9069/01 is an interface module for synchronisation and engineering order-wire (EOW) extension, part of Marconi’s MSH family of SDH digital cross-connects and multiplexers. It extends the shelf’s timing reference and its EOW voice/data channel out to auxiliary equipment or an adjacent bay, keeping the node synchronised and reachable for maintenance staff without a separate cable run for each function.

The MSH range (MSH64C, MSH80, MSH84 and MSH86 among the variants) is Marconi’s higher-capacity SDH transport platform, built around a switching matrix surrounded by tributary and aggregate interface cards. Support ended with Marconi’s 2006 collapse, so installed MSH nodes are kept running on held spares rather than factory parts.
