The IBM 00LR292 is a DCA-ZN (Distributed Converter Assembly) power module from the z14-generation family that also includes 01KV555, a 4400W DCA-ZN module. DCAs on IBM Z systems convert the frame’s bulk DC feed down to the regulated voltages the CPC (Central Processor Complex) drawer needs, with several DCA units typically running in parallel across a drawer for N+1 redundancy. The -ZN suffix is the z14-generation designator also carried by DCA-ZN, UEPO-ZN and LSA-ZN parts.
