The Cisco WS-C3560G-24PS-E is a Catalyst 3560G Series switch with 24 10/100/1000 copper ports supporting PoE, plus 4 SFP uplink slots, running the IP Services (enhanced) software image. The 3560G was the Gigabit-capable member of the original 3560 family, and the PoE-enabled -PS variant is commonly used at the access layer to power IP phones and access points directly from the switch. The IP Services image adds advanced routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, PBR) over the base Standard image, useful where the switch needs to do more than basic Layer 2/3 lite forwarding.
