The 24 RJ-45 ports auto-sense 10/100/1000BASE-T, with the four SFP slots shared across the last four copper ports for fibre uplink flexibility, backed by a 144 Gbit/s switching capacity and around 107.2 Mpps of throughput. The SI designation marks the standard-image variant of the A5500 family, running a full Layer 2/3 feature set in a stackable 1U rack-mountable chassis, with maximum power draw around 80W. It is aimed at wiring-closet or aggregation roles needing routing capability beyond a purely Layer 2 switch.
