The Netgear FSM726-V2-V3 is a ProSafe 24 port Fast Ethernet managed switch, listed here for the v2 and v3 hardware revisions of the FSM726 platform. It provides 24 auto-sensing 10/100 RJ-45 ports together with gigabit uplink capacity, including a GBIC slot for fibre.

The managed feature set is what separates the ProSafe line from Netgear’s unmanaged desktop switches: port based and 802.1Q tagged VLANs, port trunking, spanning tree, port mirroring and SNMP, reachable through a web interface or a console port.
