Newbridge 90-5947-01/P: two-port E3 (34 Mbit/s) ATM UNI/NNI interface card for the MainStreet Xpress 36170.

The Newbridge 90-5947-01/P is a two-port E3 ATM interface card for the MainStreet Xpress 36170 ATM switch, listed by Alcatel USA as 36170 E3 ATM I/F and by parts catalogues as E3-2 ATM UNI/NNI with CPU-1 at release 3.1. It terminates E3 at 34 Mbit/s and can be set as a user-network interface facing customer equipment or as a network-node interface facing another switch, with the on-board CPU handling signalling and cell processing.

The /P marks the hardware revision. Newbridge Networks built the MainStreet Xpress range and Alcatel acquired the company in February 2000, after which the switch shipped as the Alcatel 7470 MSP. The line is out of vendor support and served from held stock. Tech-Star is UK-based and ships worldwide.
