The Cisco WS-X5530-E3 is a Catalyst 5000/5500-series Supervisor Engine III fitted with the NetFlow Feature Card II (NFFC-II). It is the central switching and management module for the Catalyst 5000 and 5500 chassis family, providing Layer 2 switching, VLAN management and, via the NFFC-II daughter card, hardware-accelerated Layer 3 flow switching and NetFlow statistics export.
