The Enterasys BL-89700ENT is a RoamAbout power and data module, a plug-in blade with a single output connector designed to fit the BL-89220ENT power injector chassis and related 10/20-port chassis variants. It injects Power over Ethernet onto an individual Ethernet link feeding a RoamAbout access point.

Each module handles one access point connection, combining power and data onto the same cable run from the injector chassis, so multiple modules are fitted together in a single chassis to power a group of RoamAbout access points from one central rack location.
