Cabletron

Cabletron Systems supplied enterprise LAN switching and hub hardware, including the MMAC, MMAC-Plus and SmartSwitch families, widely deployed across corporate networks through the 1990s. Cabletron acquired the network hardware business of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in 1998, so DEC-numbered network modules are catalogued here alongside Cabletron’s own ranges. In 2000 the company reorganised and its enterprise networking lines continued under Enterasys, which later became part of Extreme Networks. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished Cabletron hardware for the support of installed estates. Submit any Cabletron or DEC part number via the enquiry form for current pricing, condition and availability.
