Extreme Networks 15956: Summit WM2000 wireless controller – a centralised wireless LAN controller managing up to 100 access points.

The Extreme Networks 15956 is a Summit WM2000 wireless controller, a centralised wireless LAN controller managing up to 100 access points. The WM2000 is the larger of the Summit WM-series controllers, providing centralised configuration, RF management and mobility control for a fleet of Altitude-series access points across a campus network. It is the management platform, not an access point itself; Altitude APs (such as the 350-2, part 15938) register to it to form a controlled wireless deployment. Buyers replacing a like-for-like unit should check the revision or suffix on the part they are removing, as this family was produced across more than one hardware revision during its production run. Sourced by Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide), ready to ship to Extreme Networks sites.
