The IBM 74Y3228 is a PCIe riser/expansion card, feature code 5685/5686, CCIN 2BE6 (also referenced as 6B1C). Along with sibling part numbers 74Y2288 and 74Y5221, it is the PCIe expansion riser fitted to IBM’s Power 720 (P720) POWER7 server, adding PCIe slot capacity beyond the base system board.
