The Cisco N20-C6508-UPG is a UCS 5108 Blade Server Chassis supplied as a bare AC-powered upgrade unit: an empty 6U chassis with its 8 cooling fans fitted but no power supplies and no I/O (fabric extender) modules installed. The 5108 chassis houses up to eight half-width (or four full-width) UCS B-Series blade servers and is designed for up to four hot-swappable, load-sharing power supplies for full redundancy. Buyers ordering this configuration need to add power supplies, fabric extenders and blade servers separately to bring the chassis into service.
