The Nortel NTRB33AD is a Fibre Junctor Interface (FIJI) card for the Meridian 1, fitted in a network module to link network groups together over a dual-ring fibre network at up to 32 PCM links per card, the same NTRB33-prefixed FIJI card family already confirmed in this catalogue, an earlier hardware revision. It is used on larger Meridian 1 configurations, such as Option 81C, that span multiple network groups and need a fibre-optic inter-group link rather than a copper one. Tech-Star supplies this as a secondary-market spare for maintaining or restoring redundancy on an existing multi-group Meridian 1 installation.
