The Brocade/Foundry NI-X-ACPWR is a AC power supply module for the NetIron XMR/MLX router chassis, part of the NetIron XMR high-performance core router platform (also sold under the later Brocade MLXe branding). NetIron XMR chassis are modular carrier-class routers built for service-provider and large enterprise core/edge routing, accepting a range of line cards, management modules, switch-fabric modules and power supplies to configure each chassis for its required port density and routing capacity. This module performs its documented role within that chassis, and as a genuine Brocade/Foundry part it is built to slot directly into a compatible NetIron XMR chassis without any compatibility concerns. NetIron XMR/MLXe platforms remain in service across many established service-provider and enterprise core networks, and genuine spares such as this one are a routine requirement for maintaining full chassis capacity, restoring redundancy after a module failure, or expanding an existing deployment.
