The D-Link DGS-1248T is a Web Smart 48-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit switch with 4 additional combo SFP ports for fibre uplinks, giving 52 usable ports in total (using an SFP disables its paired copper port). All 48 copper ports auto-sense speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDIX for straight cable runs without crossover cables.
Management features include 802.1p QoS, 802.3ad link aggregation, 802.1d Spanning Tree, port mirroring, jumbo frame support and SNMP v1. D-Link’s Safeguard Engine detects and blocks broadcast, multicast and unicast flooding, and the switch supports 802.1X port-based authentication, broadcast storm control and up to 256 static MAC address entries for access control.
