The Emulex LP1150-E is a single port 4 Gbit/s Fibre Channel host bus adapter on a PCI-X interface, the PCI-X counterpart of the PCI Express LPe1150. It presents one optical Fibre Channel port negotiating at 4, 2 or 1 Gbit/s, and the E ending identifies the EMC variant with EMC qualified firmware, which an EMC array and PowerPath check for before treating the adapter as supported.

Single port cards are specified where redundancy is built from two separate adapters in two slots rather than two ports on one card, so that a single card failure cannot take both paths at once. Confirm whether your server offers PCI-X or PCI Express slots before ordering, as the two versions of this adapter are not interchangeable. Refurbished.
