The Enterasys 6H303-48 is a third-generation high-density switching module providing 48 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports via a single high-density RJ21 (telco/Amphenol) connector, for the SmartSwitch 6000 and Matrix E7 chassis platforms. It was one of the first of Enterasys’ third-generation 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet switching modules for these chassis.

Fitting the 6C105/6C107 chassis family, the module brings 10/100 switched access to wiring closets that need high port density from a single slot, cabled out to individual RJ45 runs via RJ21-to-RJ45 patch panels or breakout cables rather than 48 discrete front-panel jacks.
