The Marconi 219-0101-000 is a 24-port 10/100Base-TX expansion module for the Marconi ESR-5000/6000 routing switch platform. It adds 24 Fast Ethernet RJ-45 ports to the chassis, expanding the switch’s customer-facing port density.

The ESR-5000/6000 Series II is Marconi’s routing switch platform, sold under the Ericsson-Marconi brand toward the end of the product’s life, built as a chassis of routing/switching, supervisor and interface modules around a crossbar switch element. Marconi’s 2006 collapse ended factory support, so installed ESR-5000/6000 chassis are maintained from secondary-market spares such as this expansion module.
