The Motorola 555461-003 is a TX Plus downstream module for the BSR 64000 cable modem termination system. It is the 64 downstream channel card in the DOCSIS 3.0 and EuroDOCSIS 3.0 TX family, fitted into a BSR 64000 chassis to add downstream capacity to an integrated CMTS head end.

The module handles the downstream RF path only, working alongside the upstream and supervisory cards in the same chassis. The high channel count is what allows an operator to bond enough downstream channels for the faster DOCSIS 3.0 service tiers without adding shelves. The BSR 64000 was Motorola’s DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS platform and passed to ARRIS with the Motorola Home business in 2013, so later units and documentation carry ARRIS branding. Refurbished.
