The Huawei LE02G48SD is a 48-port 100/1000BASE-X interface card in the ED variant, taking SFP optics, BOM number 03020LVF. It belongs to the LE-prefix line card family used in the S9300 and S9300E series chassis switches.

Forty-eight fibre-fed gigabit ports on one card gives high density in a campus core or aggregation chassis, where the ports are used for fibre uplinks from edge switches spread across a site. Because every port is SFP-based, the reach of each link is decided by the optic fitted rather than by the card, so 100BASE-FX, 1000BASE-SX, LX and longer-reach modules can be mixed across the card to suit each building. SFPs are normally supplied separately.

Line card support depends on the chassis model, the switching fabric fitted and the software version, and the E variants of the chassis have different card compatibility from the base models.
