The D-Link DGS-3224TGR is a 24-port managed Layer 2 Gigabit switch with four SFP combo ports, supplied as a rack-mount unit. The combo arrangement pairs four of the copper ports with SFP cages so each pair can be used as either a 1000Base-T copper port or a fibre port with a transceiver fitted, though only one side of a pair is active at a time. Layer 2 management covers 802.1Q VLANs, spanning tree, link aggregation, port mirroring and IGMP snooping, administered through a web interface, CLI or SNMP.
