The Emulex LP7000E-N1 is a single port 1 Gbit/s Fibre Channel host bus adapter on a 32 bit PCI interface. It is one of the earliest LightPulse cards, from the period when Fibre Channel host attachment was still moving off proprietary interfaces, and the 32 bit PCI form is what marks its age: later cards in the range went to 64 bit PCI, then PCI-X, then PCI Express.

It presents one optical Fibre Channel port at 1 Gbit/s. Adapters this old are sourced almost exclusively to keep a legacy system running, where the operating system, the driver and the array firmware are all fixed and a newer card would not be recognised. Check that your fabric switch still supports a 1 Gbit/s negotiated rate before ordering. Refurbished.
