The HP 459526-504 is a DDR2-generation Onboard Administrator module with the KVM option, for HP’s BladeSystem c7000 blade enclosure, providing the same centralised power, thermal and configuration management as the standard OA module, plus remote KVM access to individual blades, on the hardware revision that uses DDR2 memory. HP revised the Onboard Administrator hardware more than once over the c7000’s production life, and the DDR2 revision is generally the more capable of the two, supporting firmware releases the earlier revision cannot run. A c7000 enclosure can run one or two OA modules for redundancy, and matching the revision across both modules in a redundant pair is generally advisable. Tech-Star is UK-based and ships worldwide.
