The Marconi 131-9114/01 is an STM-1 interface card, part of Marconi’s MSH family of SDH digital cross-connects and multiplexers. It carries a 155 Mbit/s optical or electrical circuit into the shelf.

The MSH range (MSH64C, MSH80, MSH84 and MSH86 among the variants) is built around a switching matrix surrounded by tributary and aggregate interface cards at the STM-1, STM-4 and STM-64 rates. Marconi’s 2006 collapse ended factory support, so the installed base is maintained from secondary-market spares.
