The MRV TM-GM2DL3/33 is a DWDM transponder module for the LambdaDriver chassis that carries two Gigabit Ethernet clients on a single DWDM wavelength, with a dispersion limit that allows spans of up to about 300 km. Muxing two gigabit services onto one channel halves the number of wavelengths a pair of sites consumes, which matters on a chassis with a fixed channel count.
