SoundPoint IP 331 two line SIP desk phone with dual port Ethernet switch, PoE and full duplex speakerphone.

The Polycom 1668-12379-01 is a SoundPoint IP 331, a two line SIP desk telephone aimed at cubicle and contact centre users. It offers a full duplex speakerphone built on Polycom Acoustic Clarity processing, a dual port 10/100 Ethernet switch so a PC can share the wall port, and power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af.

The feature set covers hold, park, pick up, transfer and three way local conferencing, with shared and bridged line appearance and an XML microbrowser for server driven applications. The standard base stand reverses to make a wall mount, so no separate bracket is needed. Common trade references for this model are the 2200 and 2201 12365 numbers depending on whether a power supply is included; we confirm the exact configuration of this item before despatch. The Polycom name passed to Plantronics in 2018, then to Poly, and on to Hewlett Packard in 2022. Tech-Star is UK based and ships worldwide.
