Extreme Networks 41614 Summit/Alpine/BlackDiamond switching Datacentre Switch

The Extreme Networks 41614 is a BlackDiamond 8800 10G4Xc module, a four-port 10GBASE-XFP line module for the BlackDiamond 8800 chassis switch. The 10G4Xc fits the BlackDiamond 8800 series slot-based chassis and provides four XFP cages for 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks, typically used for core-to-core or core-to-distribution links in a campus or data centre backbone. Buyers need the matching XFP optics (sold separately) to bring the ports into service; the module itself carries no transceivers. A quick check of the label on the unit being replaced against this listing is worthwhile, given how long this hardware family stayed in production. Shipped worldwide from the UK by Tech-Star, for Extreme Networks network teams who need it working on arrival.
