The Marconi 1HAM60532AAD is the Shelf 4B display unit used in the Marconi SMA synchronous digital hierarchy transmission range. It is the front panel indication module for a 4B equipment shelf, presenting alarm and status lamps for the cards fitted in that subrack so an engineer can read the state of the shelf without attaching a craft terminal.

The unit carries no traffic itself. It is fitted to the shelf front and driven from the shelf backplane, which makes it one of the parts most often replaced when lamps fail or when a shelf is recovered from another site. Marconi’s transmission business passed to Ericsson in 2006, so later documentation for the SMA range is published under the Ericsson name. Supplied refurbished.
