Built on Enterasys’ nTERA switching ASICs, the Platinum DFE range targets high-density network edge, collapsed backbone, distribution and server aggregation roles, and the 7H4382-49 can also function as a bridging module between FTM2 and FTM1 backplane interconnects within the Matrix E7 chassis.
