The Enterasys C3G124-48P is a SecureStack C3 series stackable switch with 48 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports and 4 SFP expansion slots. It is a Layer 3 capable, PoE-enabled edge switch built for converged voice, data and wireless deployments.

The chassis provides up to 740 watts of PoE power, with the fixed copper ports supporting 802.3af Power over Ethernet at up to 15.4 watts per port; a 500-watt DC power supply is recommended for full PoE loading across all 48 ports. The switch supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, VLANs, IGMP snooping, QoS and routing between VLANs locally, and stacks with other SecureStack C3 switches for scalable deployments.

With 48 PoE ports and Layer 3 routing in a single unit, the C3G124-48P was deployed as an edge switch for IP phones, wireless access points and PoE-powered devices across Enterasys SecureStack estates.
