Enterasys SSA-AC-PS-625W Matrix/S-Series/X-Series networking Power Supply

The Enterasys SSA-AC-PS-625W is a 625W AC power supply for the S-Series Stand Alone platform. The SSA is the fixed-configuration member of the S-Series family, delivering the same distributed forwarding and policy architecture as the chassis models in a self-contained rack-mount unit for sites that need S-Series capability without a modular chassis. The unit accepts a redundant pair of these supplies, each rated to carry the full system load alone, so one can be replaced while the switch remains in service and a single failure does not interrupt forwarding. Supplies are hot-swappable and include their own cooling, meaning a fan fault presents as a supply fault and is corrected by exchanging the module. A unit running on one supply has no power redundancy and should be restored promptly. Enterasys was the post-2001 identity of Cabletron Systems, and the range moved to Extreme Networks in 2013.
