Enterasys 7G4205-72, a DFE Platinum 72-port PoE Gigabit module for Matrix chassis.

The Enterasys 7G4205-72 is a Platinum series DFE module offering 72 fixed 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports with Power over Ethernet support. It installs into a Matrix E7, N7, N5 or N3 chassis, drawing power and backplane connectivity directly from the host chassis.

Each of the 72 ports can run half or full duplex, set by auto-negotiation or manual configuration, giving high port density for large edge deployments. When PoE is required, the module draws power from the Matrix N5 chassis directly, or from an external Enterasys Matrix N-PoE Power System when fitted in an E7, N3 or N7 chassis.
