The Polycom 2201-67880-101 is a SoundStation2W, the wireless version of the SoundStation2 conference phone. Instead of a fixed cable to the wall it uses a DECT link to a base station, so the console can be carried between rooms or moved off the table when the room is used for something else, running from a rechargeable battery pack.

Audio quality matches the wired model, with the same three microphone array and full duplex operation. The base station connects to an analogue line or PBX extension and must be paired with the console, so a console bought on its own needs a compatible base to be useful. Polycom merged with Plantronics in 2018, traded as Poly from 2019, and the business went to Hewlett Packard in 2022. Tech-Star holds this line in the UK and ships internationally.
