Cabletron SEH-24 MMAC-Plus / SmartSwitch Router (SSR) networking Switch / Carrier Ethernet Line Card

The Cabletron SEH-24 is a 24-port unmanaged 10BASE-T repeating hub from the HubSTACK family, fitted with 24 RJ-45 ports and two EPIM slots on the front panel and a HubSTACK Interconnect Bus port at the rear. The EPIM slots take Cabletron’s Ethernet Port Interface Modules, so the uplink medium can be chosen to suit the site: AUI, 10BASE2 thin coaxial, 10BASE-T twisted pair, multimode fibre or single-mode fibre. Up to four HubSTACK units can be joined through the rear interconnect bus and operated as a single repeated segment, which is how port count was scaled without introducing another collision domain. LANVIEW status indicators give per-port link and activity state at a glance. This is a self-contained stackable hub rather than a chassis module, so it needs no MMAC enclosure to operate. This is Cabletron-era hardware: the enterprise division became Enterasys Networks in 2001, and Extreme Networks took over Enterasys in 2013. Tech-Star (UK-based, shipped worldwide) supplies HubSTACK units and EPIM modules. Contact our sales team for current availability.
