HG Genuine, in full Wuhan Huagong Genuine Optics Tech, is a Chinese maker of optical transceivers and optoelectronic devices, founded in March 2001 as a subsidiary of Huagong Tech, the Wuhan group listed in Shenzhen and known as HGTECH. It runs its own production from epitaxy and laser chips through optical devices to finished transceiver modules. The range runs from Gigabit SFPs for access and enterprise networks through to the 800G and 1.6T modules now used in data centre and AI systems.
