Toshiba

Toshiba is one of Japan’s largest industrial groups and has manufactured computing and storage hardware since the earliest days of the personal computer, including a hard disk drive business that supplied both its own systems and other manufacturers as an original equipment supplier. Drives and power supplies built by Toshiba therefore appear inside servers and storage arrays carrying other badges. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished Toshiba hardware including HDD2131 series and HDAI family hard disk drives and internal 120 to 240V AC power supplies for Toshiba server and storage systems. Refurbished Toshiba hardware remains in demand because storage systems of this generation were built around specific drive families and firmware, and a matching replacement is usually easier to fit than a newer alternative.
