Power-One

Power-One was an American maker of power conversion equipment, founded in 1973 and based in Camarillo, California. Its range ran from board-level DC/DC converters and AC/DC power supplies to the rectifier and DC power systems used in telecoms equipment rooms, where the company built much of its early business, and later to solar inverters. ABB acquired Power-One in 2013, so later documentation for the same equipment may carry the ABB name. A DC power system of this kind is run by a plug-in monitoring and control unit that reports rectifier status and alarms, and a spare has to carry the same part number as the unit it replaces.
