Nera

Nera Networks is a Norwegian manufacturer of microwave radio transmission equipment, based in Bergen. It built a long history as a manufacturer of point-to-point microwave radio systems and SDH transmission equipment for telecom operators, including the InterLink family of split-mount microwave radios used for backhaul and long distance links, before Ceragon Networks acquired the business from parent company Eltek ASA in 2011. Tech-Star supplies new and refurbished Nera hardware including the 2NCS590C-F3, a 155Mb/s STM-1 optical interface card for the Nera InterLink split-mount microwave radio. Refurbished Nera interface cards remain in demand because InterLink links are often kept running for many years, and an STM-1 card has to match the exact slot and signalling format of the radio it serves.
