ProLabs

ProLabs builds OEM-compatible optical transceivers, direct attach cables, active optical cables and media converters, coded to work in equipment from Cisco, Juniper, HP and around ninety other switching and transport platforms. The business grew out of the IT distributor Zycko and became independent in 2013 to concentrate on the compatibles market, and now trades as part of Amphenol. Its modules are programmed and tested in its own facilities so that a host switch accepts them exactly as it would the original vendor part, which is the entire point of a compatible optic.
