Lite-On

Lite-On Technology is a Taiwanese electronics manufacturer founded in 1975 by a group of former Texas Instruments engineers, and headquartered in Taipei. Its output spans LEDs, semiconductors, power supplies and adapters, optical disc drives, computer chassis and monitors, and it is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange; the company grew its optical drive business through the 2006 acquisition of BenQ’s ODD division before selling its solid state drive business to Kioxia in 2020.
