Luminent was the optical components business of MRV Communications, formed in 2000 and based in California, making SFP and other fibre optic transceivers. After MRV bought Fiberxon in 2007, the two were combined under the Source Photonics name. Modules from before then are badged Luminent and are listed here under the name on the label.
